Chone James (’24,SC) Rays Select National - The Virginia commit started the day off with a backside triple down the line showing off his power and speed. Played a really good 2B all day making diving plays and showing off his range. Has a plus arm in the field and plus speed on the bases.
Jayden Pipes (’27,NC) Warriors Baseball 16U - Lanky projectable frame at 6' 3 " 185 lbs, had himself a day at the plate on Saturday with a couple of base hits and missing a home run by a couple feet and one hopping the RF fence. Has raw power to all fields and a quick bat to go with it. Played a good 1B making a couple of plays and showing good mechanics. Uncommitted.
Blake Goff (’25,NC) Warriors Baseball 16U - Physical frame at 6’1” 190lbs, possesses a violent swing that’s controlled with pop to all fields. Gets into his backside really well which allows him to generate his power. Really athletic super utility player who’s solid in the field and fundamentally sound. Uncommitted.
Sean Jennison (’25,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 16U National - Solid frame at 5’10” 180lbs, showed off his barrel control going backside multiple times on Saturday. Had a great approach at the plate every at-bat making the pitcher work. Had a couple of extra-base hits with a handful of RBIs on the day. Played a solid 1B and showed off his arm throwing across the diamond a couple of times. Uncommitted.
Devin Hernandez (’25,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 16U National - Had an impressive day at SS making multiple plays in the 5-6 hole and up the middle showing off his range. At the plate, he has a contact-first approach with a great understanding of the strike zone with plus speed. A good uncommitted follow.
Powell Garrett (’25,NC) C35 Regional Showcase 17U - Showed an impressive 3-pitch combination of FB, CB, SL. Working all 3 in the zone really nicely. His CB broke 12-6 while his SL broke 3-9. Ran his FB up to 85, CB up to 70, and his SL up to 73. Commanded the zone with every pitch using a mix of his SL and CB as his strikeout pitches which kept hitters guessing and off balance. Impressive uncommitted follow.
Landon Church (’26,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18U National - A projectable 6’1” 173 lb frame, has been finding barrels all day with multiple XBH. Has pop to the pull-side with a quick bat. Top of the order bat with good speed on the bases. A leader with a really good baseball IQ and is fundamentally sound in the field at SS/2B. Good uncommitted follow.
Logan Rodriguez (’24,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18U American - A solid 6’2” 200lb RHP. Showed a FB that got up to 82 with good arm side run and a CB that T76 that he commands really well. Was efficient all game limiting damage and continued to throw strikes. Uncommitted.
Ethan Colletti (’24,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 17U National - Projectable frame at 5’11” 160lb. Gets into his legs and backside at the plate to generate power to the pull-side, line-drive hitter that’s found consistent barrels and still has room to grow. Has impressed all fall in the field and at the plate. Has shown a combination of quick hands, smooth feet, and good range at 3B. Always under control and doesn’t panic, is a leader on the field and in the dugout. Intriguing uncommitted follow.
Diego Patrick (’25,SC) Rays Select National - Projectable left-handed pitcher at 6’3” 190lbs. Dominated on Saturday going 6 innings allowing 2 ER. Showed a three-pitch arsenal consisting of FB, SL, and CH. Mainly used his FB which T81 with good arm side run and CH that T69 with a lot of depth. Mixed well keeping the hitters guessing and being very efficient. Commanded the zone nicely pounding the outside corners. Good uncommitted follow.
John Hucko (’27,NC) SBA National 2027 - Displays a high 3/4 arm slot with a lively FB and a high spin rate SL. His FB got up to 84 and sat around 82 and his SL topped at 70. Pitched 1 inning in the championship game on Sunday and struck out the side. SL has a lot of spin with late break that gets a ton of swings and misses. Locates really well with both pitches and lives on the outer half. One of the most impressive young arms at this event. Great uncommitted follow.
Blane Mcdonald (’25,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 17U National - Solid frame at 5' 11 '' 145lb, showcases a 2-seam FB that topped at 80 and a SL that topped at 70. Extends well down the mound to get into his legs. Lands both pitches for strikes and lives on the edges of the zone. Threw 2 innings on Sunday giving up 0 runs and 0 hits while also striking out 4 batters. Impressive uncommitted follow.
Matty Carroll (’27,NC) SBA National 2027 - A projectable young arm at 6’0” 165lb. Displayed a three-pitch arsenal of FB, SL, and CH. Ran the FB up to 83 with great command and arm side run. Has a tight SL that he uses as his strikeout pitch with it sitting at 75. The CH (T66) is a good mix-up pitch and he uses it well. Gets a lot of swings and misses on all of his pitches and locates very well. Showcases a mid to high 3 quarters arm slot. Intriguing young uncommitted follow.
Blaize Johnson (’24,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18U National - Big physical left-handed hitting catcher at 6’0” 215lb. Raw power to all fields with a violent swing and excellent bat speed. Hard-hitting middle of the order bat. A leader behind the dish with a great baseball IQ. Quick twitch actions at catcher, a really strong arm, and showed it off by throwing out multiple people this weekend. Really impressive uncommitted follow.
Trey Kennedy (’24,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18U National - Big strong frame at 6’2” 240lb. Big bat with a violent swing that stays in the zone. Big pull-side pop and raw power and plus bat speed. Had multiple extra-base hits this weekend and missed a couple of home runs by a couple of feet. Good uncommitted follow.
Thomas Zierler (’25,NC) Wow Factor Coastal 18U National - Projectable frame at 6' 1 " 190lb, has a really good approach at the plate and was one of the most impressive bats of the weekend. Found barrels all weekend, has a fast bat, and good speed on the bases. Top of the order bat. Good OF that takes good routes and has good closing speed. Impressive uncommitted follow.
